I'm based borderline Sheffield/Rotherham with easy access to Barnsley, Huddersfield, Leeds and the surrounding area. Just off Junction 35 on the M1 not far from Meadowhall.
That depends on many factors. Initially priced on length of time, complexity and inclusive of any additional costs (Photography, Logos etc). I also take into account any budgets you provide beforehand.
I wouldn't say my work was cheap or expensive, but I am certainly one of the best you will find. Get in touch for a proper price.
Mark Goddard, Web Design Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Leeds, Yorkshire
My names Mark. I'm a web designer & developer based in the Yorkshire area working in Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Leeds. But that's not the full extent of what I do. I work with many different technologies and people and love things outside the web including photography, print, stationery and graphics. Get in touch and let's speak.
I'm a twitter user.
The web is interactive, and so is this website, so to make things a little more interesting and to show my talents here are a few tasks for you to complete:

I love the web. Ever since I designed my first website back in 2003 at the tender age of 15 for a local Sheffield based business I knew it's what I wanted to do. I was fascinated by it's uses, it's technology and it's future. I was excited, and in my School days I spent hours/days/months/years learning the basics of web development. It's how I got to where I am today and it's how I've developed my quality and skills as a website designer.
To see more of my web work hit the number 2 on your keyboard or scroll down.
Here's a quick overview of what I'm actually capable of. I've worked on the web for quite a few years but there are a handful of projects which I loved working on and put in a lot of effort, these I have displayed for you to view, call it my art gallery if you will.
I was approcahed to build a site to advertise a rental apartment in Nice. The apartment needed a basic booking form which emailed the owner with details of the enquiry (completely built with the latest ajax technology), a calendar to display all enquiries and bookings at a glance, a photo gallery and various other touches to create a compelling advert and an easy way to make a booking/enquiry, all database driven.
Another photo shoot taken with some of the fastest cars on the planet. I travelled this time to Hockenheim for the 2010 German Grand Prix and it was amazing, and I got some great shots of some amazing cars including the now legendary Bugatti Veyron, which made a surprise appearance.

A high profile game, a high profile venue. Manchester United vs Chelsea was the first competitive game of the season and the Community Shield was one which neither team wanted to give up.
I ended up photographing the event and got some great shots like the one shown. It's dramatic lighting and emotion on the players faces is what makes the photo.
TwiPho was an experiment. A project which has turned out very popular online. It also has a mobile version in the works due for release.
I had words with a mate who said "we should create a mashup". Anyway, I came up with this concept of finding images in the twitter search, extracting those images and allowing people to retweet them, view them, save them, email them, do whatever they want with them.
8 hours later... http://twipho.net/
This is a new project of mine, currently in private testing and soon to be public beta.
It's a brilliantly elegant and easy to use and perfectly formed for the iPhone's screen. Simply type your search term and begin exploring photos on Twitter in real time. You can then login to twitter, retweet and follow the photographer immediately!
I'm a BIG F1 fan. Probably a little too enthusiastic for the sport but I'm hooked.
Last year I took my SLR along to photograph the cars, which is no mean feat. The cars were doing upwards of 180mph and trying to get a clean and crisp photo of something moving at that speed is extremely difficult. I managed to get a few great shots, including this one of Lewis Hamilton. I'm hoping to get more great shots at future F1 races (I go every year).

A local boarding kennels needed a revamped website to attract more customers and help with the re homing of cats and dogs. I went along, did some photography of some dogs that may melt your heart, and developed this website. I developed a simple admin interface which allows her to upload a photo (which is automatically resized) and information about the dog. It's then auto emailed to a selection of dog re homing sites so they can list it too! Easy peasy. Dennise said "It is very easy to use, must be as I can do it!"
De Reis Van Europa (The Tour of Europe) is a website built specifically for that. Three of us on the trip are of the creative type and we wanted to "create" something to blog for our families and friends while touring Europe in nothing less than a beast! Our hired motorhome named "dorris". If you see her (PN08ETK) give her a wave and say that Mark, Ky, Dan, Jan, Fish and Mike say hi...
Result Group are the largest rental software company in the world. The build high class software for companies such as Volvo, Bechtel and Mobile Mini dealing with customers worth billions of dollars in revenue.
I was entrusted with rebuilding their poor branding giving them a fresh new look and creating them a world class corporate website. I spent three months working solid on this project and spent a full year working there on a University Placement. It was a great experience giving me great knowledge of how a large company like Result Group works.
Note: I no longer have control over the site as their in house design team now deals with it. It may therefore differ from my screenshot. http://www.rentalresult.com/
Wines2Savour is a locally run business dealing with wines from across the globe. Paul and Tom needed a website which oozed sophistication and elegance.
I based the design around a wine label and added in a deep red colour commonly associated with wine. The site looks and feels like a wine website should with a very complex wine search engine allowing administrators to easily add and remove wines at will. The wine search is the sites little party piece.
With the web being such an open system it's a surprise that everyone is jumping on the "app" bandwagon. Areas such as the iPhone App Store and Androids Marketplace are big business, but people seem to be forgetting the roots of the web.
The mobile browsing experience is growing at a phenomenal rate and seems to have been slightly overlooked. You can create a very similar experience of a native app in the phones browser.
I've built iPhone web apps and can easily build professional and beautifully designed UI's. I've even worked on the iPad creating demo web applications specially optimised for it's large touch screen. With Apple's range of mobile devices, the possibilities are infinite.
A web app is very similar to a native app you can download from the App Store, but it's built entirely using the most up-to-date web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3. It means that it's pretty much cross compatible with all mobile devices or any other web browser. They are usually optimised for a small screen and this is why they work so wonderfully well.
With years worth of design experience and the upmost respect for modern branding conventions, you can be safe in the knowledge that any design work you need, I can produce.
Logo design is a key area of a business branding. It's usually the first thing people see, even on a website and should follow you and your business everywhere you go, whether you're networking and handing out a business card, or writing on a compliments slip, your brand and logo should be distinctive and professional to maintain the edge in your market.
Creating new logos is not the start of it. Is your logo looking dated? Have you lost or never had a vector (scalable image) version? If not I can rejuvenate, revamp and redesign brands in an instant.

Social Media Integration
If you've not heard of Twitter, Facebook or YouTube you probably ought to look away now. With over 600 Million users between them can you afford not to jump onto the social media bandwagon? I can open up your business to these social commodities and make sure you connect with your customers in the right way.
Twitter
Twitter has over 100 million users and is the place to be at the moment. It can be a great tool for marketing and connecting with your customers. It makes your company and your business have a feeling of personality and openness. Heck, even the Dalai Lama has a twitter account with nearly 400,000 people following his messages.
They have an extensive API which I have worked with a lot and know inside out.
Facebook
Facebook is one of the largest websites on the internet currently entertaining 400 million users. It's facebook connect API allows your website to interact with user accounts to better integrate with a community and is currently being used by Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo integrating with their games consoles.
YouTube
Most people have watched a video on YouTube at some point or another and it serves up over 2 billion videos every day. It's a great promotion tool for things such as music. Bands such as the Arctic Monkeys use their YouTube account to connect with fans posting monthly blogs about their antics.
